Tributes have been paid to a mother of two who was killed in a suspected "road rage" incident in Barnet, north London.
Christie McHugh, 33, was hit by a car as she was involved in an apparent row with another driver outside the Lord Kitchener pub on Monday evening.
Ms McHugh died from head injuries after she was carried along the bonnet of the car before she fell off and hit a zebra crossing light.
Her friend Steve Meadham said she was the "most fantastic person".
Metropolitan Police officers believe she had argued with another woman driver and got out of her car before she was hit and left injured in East Barnet Road.
Mr Meadham added: "She was just trying to get the kids in the car and get the car out of here."
A message on the pub's Facebook page said: "After yesterdays sad and tragic accident. paul and all the staff send there deepest condolences to john and the kids and christie's family. and a most sincere thank you to all the friends and customers that helped after the accident."
Ms McHugh is yet to be formally identified but her family has been told. A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later.
A woman was arrested in Barnet in connection with the death and released on bail until April.
