A woman has been arrested on suspicion of "preparation of terrorist acts", police have said.
Scotland Yard says the woman, 25, was arrested in Bedfordshire and taken to a police station in London.
The investigation "is related to Syria" and two addresses in Bedfordshire are now being searched, police added.
The woman was arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police's SO15 Counter Terrorism Command.
